The spring units can be either framed or unframed. Uses: Double cone springs: Mattress and base set manufacture. All springs are heat treated and stress relieved ensuring the highest degree of uniformity and quality. Available in different sizes and gauges. Mattress helicals: Unit assembly and available in different sizes and pitch. Frame helicals: To assemble the frames to the springs and available in different lengths and pitch. Frames: Manufactured to customers requirements in either flat or round form. Mattress spring units: Assembled in most standard sizes, gauges and coil counts and available with or without frames. Roll pack of 10 - 12 units 20 / 40 ft container Loose spring coils 13 and 13 1/2 gauge per carton 20 / 40 ft container Pocket springs Roll pack of 8 units 20 / 40 ft container Production Details: Once the cone springs have been made, the mattress units are produced by placing the required number of the cones on to the assembly machine which uses helical wire to link them all together. The spring units are next heat-treated to strengthen the wire and improve the elasticity of the springs, and finally roll-packed for shipment.
